QA Hub Privacy Policy

QA Hub is a marketplace that connects developers who need Google Play closed testing with testers who perform daily quality-assurance check-ins in exchange for rewards. In this policy, “the Service” means the QA Hub Android app and related services operated by Omnia Labs.
We do not sell your personal data.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Google account information when you sign in: name, email address, profile photo URL, and a unique Google user ID.
- Role selection: whether you use the app as a tester or developer.
- PayPal email address (testers): used to send payouts when you request a withdrawal.
- Developer campaign details: Google Play Store URL, Google Group link, and payment information processed through PayPal.
- QA feedback: star ratings (1–5) and written feedback about apps you test.
- Support communications if you contact us by email.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: app version, language/locale preference, and basic session information.
- Push notification token (FCM): to send you notifications about campaigns, deadlines, and payouts.
- Usage and transaction data: slot claims, check-ins, streak progress, wallet balance, payout history, and campaign activity.
- Advertising identifier (Advertising ID): used by Google AdMob to serve ads in the app, where applicable and permitted by your device settings.
We do not intentionally collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or files from your device.
2.3 Package verification
To verify that you tested the correct app, QA Hub checks whether a specific Android package name is installed on your device and may launch that app. We do not access the contents of other apps on your device.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account;
- Match testers with developer testing campaigns;
- Process developer registration fees and tester payouts via PayPal;
- Record daily QA check-ins, streaks, and rewards;
- Send push notifications and service-related messages;
- Display advertisements through Google AdMob;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations;
- Improve, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis (EEA/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the following bases:

5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information with:
- Google (Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play services, AdMob) — Google Privacy Policy
- PayPal — to process developer payments and tester payouts — PayPal Privacy Statement
- Developers — if you are a tester, your QA ratings and feedback (and optionally your display name) may be shared with the developer whose app you tested. We do not share your email address with developers unless required by law or with your consent.
- Service providers — hosting and infrastructure providers that help us operate the Service, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. International transfers
Our servers are hosted within the European Union. Some third-party providers (such as Google and PayPal) may process data outside the EU. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by those providers.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Account data: for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Transaction and payout records: typically up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
- QA feedback: for the duration of the relevant campaign and a reasonable period afterward so developers can review testing results.
- Push tokens: until you uninstall the app, log out, or the token is refreshed/invalidated.
You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Data portability;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
In the Netherlands, the supervisory authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure server hosting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
QA Hub is not intended for users under 18 years of age. The Service involves financial rewards and payments. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Advertising
QA Hub displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and related data to personalize or measure ads, subject to your device settings and applicable consent requirements. You can limit ad personalization in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Privacy / ads settings).
12. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party websites or apps (such as Google Play, PayPal, or Google Groups). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies separately.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may notify you through the app or by email where appropriate.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
